Short summary: adolf.bg subscriptions are non-refundable. You can cancel future renewals at any time from your account.
1. No refunds
adolf.bg subscriptions are digital content with immediate access. Under Article 16(m) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU the 14-day right of withdrawal is waived for such content when the consumer gives explicit consent that performance begins immediately AND acknowledges that the withdrawal right is lost.
On every Stripe checkout we require you to select "Yes — start now, waive withdrawal right" in a mandatory field (recorded as `withdrawal_waiver = yes` on the Stripe session). This evidences your consent.
Once checkout completes, refunds are not available.
2. Cancellation
You can cancel future renewals at any time from your account (/portal — Stripe Customer Portal). Cancellation stops the next billing cycle — you keep access through the end of the current paid period.
We do not offer partial refunds for unused days of the current period.
3. Billing errors / technical issues
If you were charged twice, hit a genuine technical problem, or another exceptional circumstance, write to adolf@hin.ch. We review case by case and may issue a discretionary refund outside the standard policy.
4. Model withdrawal form (statutory boilerplate)
This form is provided pursuant to Art. 11 of Directive 2011/83/EU and applies ONLY if you did NOT waive your right of withdrawal at checkout. In practice every adolf.bg checkout requires that waiver.
